Hola a todos, hoy vamos con la tercera y última entrega de nuestro viaje a La Serena. El domingo nos despertamos tarde y nos comimos un señor Desayuno (con mayúsculas), huevos, pan, queso, pavo, mantequilla, zumos, té… para recargar energías. Después pusimos rumbo al Faro Monumental de La Serena, este faro es sólo un monumento y lugar turístico ya que no puede funcionar, su ubicación no lo permite, está situado en playa y no en acantilados como debe estar. Quedó muy dañado en el último terremoto que hubo en septiembre del año pasado en el norte Chile y el posterior tsunami, que afortunadamente no sentimos ya que nos encontrábamos en España. El bus salía a las 14:00 así que nos fuimos a la estación y emprendimos nuestro regreso a la capital.

hello guys, we go with the third and final part of our trip to La Serena. On Sunday we woke up late and had breakfast with eggs, bread, cheese, turkey , butter , juices , tea … to recharge. Then we headed to the Lighthouse of la Serena, this lighthouse is just  a tourist point because it cannot work , its location does not allow it , is located on the beach. It was badly damaged in the last earthquake that occurred in September last year in northern Chile and ensuing tsunami, which fortunately did not feel as we were in Spain. The bus left at 14:00 so we went to the station and started our return to the capital.
